Do producer-recommended tools and player-reshaping pedals ever overlap?
Something I've been turning over: the gear that shows up in producer interviews tends to be evaluated for how it captures or shapes a recording. But the pedals I find most interesting are the ones that change how you actually play in the moment. Curious whether those two categories ever genuinely converge, or if they're optimizing for different things entirely.
